OUR PASTOR


Pr. Paul Robinson grew up in the small town of Bradford, located in North East Arkansas near Searcy.  His father, Don Robinson, has pastored Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford for over 40 years.  Paul has worked with a major U.S. retailer for 29 years.  In 2014, Paul and his family moved to Ottawa, IL. 


Pr. Paul married Monica on September 9, 1995.  Monica grew up in Bethalto, IL. near St. Louis.  Paul and Monica have 9 children, Anthony, Caleb, Aaron, Zachary, Olivia, Kayleigh, Levi and Evelyn and now enjoying their new arrival, Evan Paul.  


Paul answered God's call to preach 17 years ago, and was involved in the ministries of Lighthouse Baptist Church in La Salle.  He taught the College and Career Age Sunday School Class, preached in Nursing Homes, and in the La Salle County Detention Home.  He also coached the high school boys basketball team for 4 years.

OUR CHURCH

 

Harvest Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Bible Believing, Baptist Church, believing in the verbal inspiration of the scripture (KJV), and the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ in a pre-tribulation rapture. We firmly believe that Salvation includes a repentant heart toward God, and faith in our Saviour Jesus Christ (...not of works, lest any man should boast).
